Every great story begins with a little bit of magic…

Sometimes it's a wish upon a star. Sometimes it's perfect timing. And sometimes, it's two people finding each other exactly when they're meant to.

Our love story began on December 23, 2024, when our paths crossed for the very first time. What started as a 7 hour first date at Korean BBQ quickly became something neither of us could explain, only something we both felt, a deep passionate love. People have told us that everything happened so fast, but as the saying goes, "When you know, you know." For us, it felt as though our story had already been written; we were simply turning the pages together.

Our love story is built on caring for others. As nurses, compassion is woven into who we are. Rika serves as a Hospice Registered Nurse, bringing comfort and peace to patients and their families, while Vincent is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Critical Care, helping patients through some of life's most challenging moments. Every day reminds us how precious life is, and it has taught us to never take love (or each other) for granted.

Our first unforgettable adventure to the Philippines left a lasting mark on our hearts. It wasn't just a vacation, it became the beginning of our shared love for our culture, plus exploring the world together. Adventure has become one of our favorite love languages. Together we've wandered through the breathtaking islands of Philippines, explored the vibrant beauty of Thailand, and filled our passports and our hearts, with unforgettable memories. Whether we're discovering a new country, searching for the next amazing restaurant, finding new camp grounds, or going to Disneyland, we believe every day can hold a little magic when we're together.

When we're not chasing adventures, you'll probably find us racing each other in Mario Kart, playing pickleball, fishing, cooking dinner together, or spending time with the animals we adore. We laugh constantly, embrace our goofiness, and believe life is too short not to enjoy every moment.

Vincent loves that Rika is everything he ever hoped for.. beautiful, successful, caring, adorable, and effortlessly funny. She has a way of making ordinary days sparkle, and no matter where they are, she makes every place feel like home.

From the moment Rika met Vincent, she knew there was something special about him. She was charmed by his unique sense of humor, passion for nursing, and of course, his handsomeness. To this day, Rika admires Vincent for being hardworking, self less, compassionate, funny, and an incredible cook. She says his smile lights up every room. More than anything, he makes her feel safe, supported, and eternally loved.

People have called us a "power couple," but what matters most to us is that we are truly partners and best friends. We share the same dreams: building a loving home, raising a family, growing together in faith, and choosing each other every single day. We pray together, worship together, and trust that God has been writing our story long before we ever met.

Every fairy tale has its prince and princess, but ours is less about castles and crowns and more about laughter, prayer, adventure, compassion, and unconditional love. It's about two hearts finding home in one another. Every story reminds us that courage, respect, kindness, and love can overcome anything. Those are the values on which we will build our marriage. We know there will be adventures still waiting for us, unexpected plot twists along the way, and dreams yet to come true. But if there's one thing our story has taught us, it's that every adventure is sweeter when you have your favorite person by your side.

So here we are.. two hearts and two souls who found home in one another. Every fairy tale begins with "Once Upon a Time," but ours continues with today.
